Lunchtime Learning: Gaining Confidence & Charisma (MSLL091223)

(09/12/2023-09/12/2023)

Course Memo

We’ve all seen people who ooze confidence and charisma. They are secure in who they are, but they aren’t arrogant. They are self-aware, and they are generally willing to take big risks because they believe anything is possible. They acknowledge their own achievements, and they are the first to celebrate yours, too. People feel better just being around them. From the outside, it appears confidence and charisma happen with ease, and either you have them, or you don’t. The truth is both are learned behaviors that can be mastered with practice and persistence. In this session facilitated by Krista Scammahorn, you’ll learn how to confidently present successes and skills, develop a compelling opener when meeting new people, and learn how to leave an impression others won’t forget.
