(01/26/2021-01/26/2021)
Course Memo
Are the Zoom meetings you’re part of feeling a little tired and boring? This session will help! Virtual meetings can be just as engaging and effective as face-to-face settings, but the trick is to make those sessions participant-centered. Learn how to engage your virtual audience right from the start, hold their attention, and deliver the messages you need to share succinctly and efficiently. Facilitator Marcy Luter will share a variety of free and low-cost polling, games and chat tools; offer strategies for asking and answering questions on live webinars; and explore a framework for participant-centered focus for your virtual events.
Marcy works with businesses and organizations of all kinds to meet their goals through training and other educational opportunities for their greatest asset … their human resources. Her areas of expertise include personal effectiveness and time management, playing to your strengths, communication skills and team dynamics.
Marcy holds a bachelor’s in agricultural communications from Oklahoma State University, and she is a certified facilitator and trainer for FranklinCovey, Gallup’s StrengthsQuest assessment, Development Dimensions International, AchieveGlobal and Myers Briggs Type Indicator.
