Photography - Intermediate (SPI)

“Taking the Next Step” is an intermediate photography course designed for individuals who already have a basic understanding of photography and want to push beyond the boundaries of common photography. This class will cover such topics as flash photography, close-up photography, panorama photography, low-light photography, painting by light photography, and astrophotography. Each session will cover a different topic. After obtaining basic instruction the class will participate in practical exercises and put their skills to work while having immediate access to assistance if needed. This course is designed to be more hands-on, and students are strongly encouraged to have their photographic equipment with them for each session for the practical exercises. Additionally, homework will be assigned each week, with the photographs being critiqued in class to help participants improve their photographic skills.
