Course Memo
In addition to great dividend income, value investing strives to provide a buffer in a stock market crash. This is especially helpful to retirees seeking safety and income. Students will learn how to find quality value stocks by using methods originally taught by the fathers of value investing, Columbia University professors Ben Graham and David Dodd. They will also learn Graham and Dodd's principles an how to use them to find stable companies that pay healthy dividends in today's stock market.
