Free to Focus: Incorporating Paper Planning in Your Digital Life (MSHR100819)

(10/08/2019-10/08/2019)

Course Memo

In the whirlwind of busyness, it can be easy to get swept up in technology and lose sight of our major goals and priorities.  It gets tough to filter the important from merely urgent, and soon weeks feel crammed with no real achievement to show for your effort.  If this sounds like you, the last thing you need is another mobile app or desktop program to help keep your life on track. Incorporating paper planning into your healthiest digital routines can create a hybrid system that will help you focus on your most important roles and goals.   This class will guide you to determine: why switching to paper might be a solution; what you need a planner to do; how to choose one that exceeds your expectations; ways to incorporate it into your real life; how to transition strategically to a new set of powerful habits so you can continue to successfully use your new tool. Samples of several popular planners will be available so you can review them in person. Lunch is included in the registration fee.
