Whether your colleagues have mentioned it or not, they have thought about the "what ifs" regarding a situation at your place of business. Have you talked as a team about how you can prepare for and anticipate potential violence, and how you’d react in a threatening situation? This session will explore warning signs and situational awareness, how to partner with various organizations to determine what procedures and training you need in place, what kind of response equipment is ideal to keep on hand, and how to communicate with your staff and stakeholders during and after a workplace violence event.
