The WorkKeys NCRC is a portable, evidence-based credential that certifies the essential skills for workplace success. Employers look for it from job candidates, whether they come directly from high school or through postsecondary paths, because it is a valid and reliable predictor of job performance. ACT® WorkKeys® Curriculum helps build the essential career-relevant skills needed for learning, personal development and effective job performance and prepares students for the Workkeys Assessments. WorkKeys Assessments consist of: • Applied Math measures the ability to apply mathematic principles to problems encountered in the workplace • Graphic Literacy measures the ability to find, analyze and apply information presented in workplace graphics • Workplace Documents measures the ability to understand and apply written information presented in the workplace Successful completion of the Workkeys Assessment leads to earning a nationally recognized certificate at the Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum level.
