Course Memo
Your business is in need of more office or production space, and you’re considering whether to build new, renovate an existing building or just rent space. What is the most economical decision? How can you control construction costs? When do you engage with inspectors and obtain the proper permits? Jason Mayes, Project Manager for LOPP Construction, will walk you through the budget decisions and strategic implications of building, buying or renovating a commercial building.
What You’ll Learn

2. Renovate or new construction – which is best? Learn how the variables like quality, price and schedule will help determine what you should do.
3. Should I be nervous to work with the City of Stillwater Development Office? Gain an understanding of what they need and how to deliver the information.
4. Can I afford to build? Learn how to reduce costs and make workflow predictable in the early stages.
