From phone calls and text messages to emails and social media sites, technology has given us countless ways to connect with one another. But, along with this convenience comes a whole new set of etiquette rules. Employees and their supervisors are faced with the responsibility of knowing the etiquette associated with each method and device.  This session will offer savvy strategies for effective workplace use of technology.  This session will be taught by Kim Strom, Coordinator of Computer Training Services, Meridian Technology Center. Kim and her team design and implement customized training plans as well as develop the short-course computer training that is available for individuals in the Meridian district. Kim’s professional background includes 20 years in the software and application development industry. Her areas of expertise include programming, database design, website development, project management, end-user training, and any of the Microsoft Office suite of products.
