Course Memo
The fundamental purpose of this course is to be able to perform entry-level work in the field of maintenance, repair and remodeling of apartments, homes, buildings, offices, schools and other facilities. Students will be introduced to the field of building maintenance. Topics to be covered in this course will be hands-on training and safety procedures, an overview of career opportunities in the maintenance field, how to perform basic electrical repairs, minor plumbing repairs, HVAC basic repairs, and power tool and equipment operation. There are no pre-requisites for this program. (Facilities Management)
