Masonry: Basics (SMB)

This course is designed to provide the hands-on technique of brick laying. Topics covered are safety, tools, brick laying, mortar mixing and spreading, cinder block laying and ceramic tile setting. Students will learn to use a level to line bricks and blocks as well as how to use a masonry saw. The skills gained within this course will be applicable to a wide variety of applications from new construction to repair or remodeling projects.
